Launching the world first fully autonomous zero emissions electric cargo ship.

Norwegian maritime authorities have given the green light for fully autonomous electric cargo shipping journeys to commence around the Nordic fjords in 2018.

Revolutionary smart electric autonomous ships based on the concept designs developed by the Yarra – Kongsberg partnership will soon transport bulk cargo with zero emissions.

A key aim is to reduce 40,000 diesel powered truck haulage journeys per year in Norway alone, resulting in zero emissions freight transport and improved road safety.
