Faraday Future joins Formula E in Season 3.

Faraday Future is one of the world’s newest high profile EV super car development companies with billions of dollars of corporate backing aimed at changing the automotive industry to electric cars.

Faraday Future is partnering with Dragon Racing to form a new Formula E racing team for season three. Dragon Racing has participated in the FIA Formula E series from the start of the ePrix series in 2014. The partnership will provide a huge amount of financial support, technical innovation in car development and a perfect environment for Faraday Future to test drivetrains, batteries, inverters and much more for their new high performance passenger car models.


Formula E’s CEO, Alejandro Agag hosted the official Faraday Future Dragon Racing partnership announcement at last weekend’s Formula E finale for season two. Season three commences in October 2016 and also welcomes Jaguar Motorsport back to racing with their ePrix team providing even more technology developments and excitement.

Here’s a clip from last weekend’s Formula E exciting round 10 in the centre of London. Another outstanding series climax with the Renault e.Dams team winning both the constructors championship and the drivers’ championship.

The winners:

Nico Prost won the final race of the series for the Renault e.Dams team and Sebastien Buemi just managed to gain enough points in a fastest lap shootout to beat Lucas di Grassi from the ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport team for the series number one spot.


ePrix Season Three: The countdown to season three has commenced with car improvements, new technology, new teams and new race venues like New York and Hong Kong. Season three starts in October 2016.
