2017: Next generation Formula e car design concept has been released. The new car will have a design that will excite all motorsport fans. New 56kWh battery provided by McLaren will power season 5 cars for the whole race without the need to stop. The new design concept is again provided by Spark Racing Technology. It looks fantastic.
FIA Formula E – Season 4 – 2017/18
The excitement for the ePrix Season 4 is building and starts on 2nd and 3rd December 2017 on the harbour front streets of Hong Kong. Jaguar returns with a stronger team is using the ePrix experience to accelerate their EV passenger car development. Audi Sport now has the ABT team as a full factory Audi racing team with the highly anticipated new Mercedes, Porsche and BMW Formula E teams preparing for season 5 entry
Renault will had over their ePrix team to Nissan for season 5 signalling Nissan as the first big Japanese manufacturer works Formula E motorsport team.
Season 4 will be the last season where teams need to change cars mid race with a highly anticipated new design ePrix racing car model with larger battery and drivetrain for season 5.
